Indian Almond (Catappa) Leaves
Other names: Terminalia catappa, Ketapang
Used for: Aquatic setups, bioactive substrates
Natural antibacterial treatment
Indian Almond leaves are a natural additive for aquatic setups and bioactive substrates. When added to water, the leaves release tea-coloured acids to lower the pH and neutralise heavy metals, as well as releasing natural antibacterial and antifungal compounds.
These leaves are especially useful at treating and preventing fungal and bacterial infections such as shell rot and skin infections.
